Virginia is amazing in the fall!!!! the mountains are just on fire with color...its hard not to fall in love with this place all over agian that time of year.....i think everyone should see it once.....between about the 2nd week and 3rd week in october is peak for the fall color....i was alittle early for these two shots....still alittle green in there.....but, i am still very proud of these shots.....the second shot is Crab Tree Falls....which that one was about a 2 mile hike to get to it....walking up slate stairs, then up rocky paths to get to it, but it is amazing once you get there.....just breathetaking, especially that time of year....thanks so so much for your comment!

Hey, it was 35 C here a few days ago!
Hrmm.. The Appalachians still are a bit too southern for the early frost, though (except in the Sutton region). From my experience, I have found that the more vibrant colours are above 45 lat. You still get great colours, but deep reds are a bit harder to find south of that, depending on the fall

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
